We hope you’ve been having a fabulous fall season! We’re heading quickly into the holidays, and from now until December 12, we will be holding a toy drive at the Wynnefield Branch in partnership with the Wynnefield Community Neighborhood Association (WCNA).
We are asking for a new toy still in its original packaging, for any age range. Gifts can be dropped off at the front office or left with Branch Director Luke Honer or Branch Coordinator Chiara Ferrero.
Every child deserves a new toy this holiday season! Together with WCNA, we will make this possible for families right here in the Wynnefield community.

A chance for ensembles to perform for and receive feedback from pianist Dynasty Battles. An alumnus of our Germantown Branch, Battles has performed George Walker’s Piano Sonata No. 1 in a private engagement at the composer’s home, and was recognized by AL DÍA as a “40 Under Forty” honoree in 2020. Battles studies with internationally acclaimed pianist Leon Bates, and has also studied with Jonathan Coopersmith, Chair of Musical Studies at the Curtis Institute of Music.
