It's been a tough year for Calgary and we've seen the results of that here at the Women's Centre. 1111 women and children visited us for holiday gifts in just the first two days of the Toy Room and we're currently short on gifts. That's up 32% from last year and we know there will be hundreds more before the end of the year.

Some of our biggest donors from last year are feeling the squeeze themselves. We're worried about toys, but also supplies for the other programs women can access here. Many come for shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and other necessities. Volunteers are doing amazing work to make sure women feel safe and supported in the middle of this December rush. But we need your help!

Every program, from free Girl Power afterschool programming to workshops for adults, are supported by donors like you.

• $25 provides one child with a holiday gift.
• $50 gives 12 women sanitary pads for a month.
• $172 supports one woman's activities at the Centre for a year.
• $400 sends one girl to Girl Power Camp with bus tickets, lunches and supplies for an entire week.
