Delivering Joy Where It Is Needed Most: Join the 16th Annual Toys for the North Campaign

Every child deserves the wonder, warmth, and magic of unwrapping a toy during the holidays. For thousands of children living in Canada’s most remote northern regions, however, geographic isolation and limited economic access mean that this simple joy is often out of reach.

This year marks the milestone 16th anniversary of the Toys for the North Campaign, and we are calling on the collective heart and strength of Canada’s toy manufacturing, sales, and distribution community to make a lasting difference.

Powered entirely by dedicated volunteers, the Toys for the North Campaign is made possible through an extraordinary collaborative effort uniting the following:

• The Canadian Toy Association

• Thomson Terminals

• Royal Canadian Mounted Police

• RCMP Veterans’ Association

• Canadian Forces 8 Wing CFB Trenton

• Thunder Bay RCMP partners with North Star Air Ltd. and Gardewine

Together, our partners mobilize by air and ground across vast distances to bring brand-new toys directly into the hands of children and families in isolated communities across Labrador, Manitoba, Nunavut, and Northern Ontario.

Last year, the exceptional generosity of our industry members delivered an astonishing $694,829.00 in retail value—representing 52,138 brand-new toys.

For this milestone 16th year, our ambition is even greater. The Canadian Toy Association has set out to make this campaign the most impactful in our history by setting a new all-time donation record. As the creators and curators of play, your leadership is essential to making this vision a reality.
