I want to wish you and your family a wonderful holiday, and hope that your start to 2021 is blessed with health and happiness. 2020 has been a wild ride in residential real estate with all predictions and plans made a year ago essentially “tossed out the window” for a year of unprecedented volume in trading and continued appreciation for many homes in Marin County. COVID’s impact on our industry has been monumental with a quick and heightened pendulum swing from cities to suburbs around the country and here in the Bay Area. If the fundamentals of our economy, including very low interest rates, a strong stock market, and low supply/continued scarcity remain consistent into 2021, I anticipate that this coming year will remain very strong for sellers in Marin County and a bit more challenging for buyers who are trying to time the market.
