Hello, Trade & Industrial Division Membership,

I hope you are all doing well in this busy time of the year. I would like to take this time and remind you to sign yourselves and your students up for those CTSOs — they are a great way for your students to become more involved at the regional, state and national levels. As many of you know, I was a product of the SkillsUSA organization when I was in school, and it was very instrumental for me in my career path. I have had the great honor of serving on the SkillsUSA national board as one of my Trade & Industrial (T/I) Division VP responsibilities. With that being said, I have met a lot of people within that organization and every one of them have been very student centered. Couple that with Chelle Travis’ leadership, and you have a winning team.

It is also the time of year again for us to nominate deserving T/I teachers for recognition at VISION 2022. I would like to Thank SkillsUSA for handling the awards program this year. I encourage you all to follow this Link to nominate the teachers you know.

Be sure your membership is current by Nov 2 to vote — renew now!
Voting will open during CareerTech VISION on Dec. 2 and run through Jan. 2
Winners will be announced in January 2023
