This week USTDA will host its second Energy Storage Reverse Trade Mission :
  • A global delegation will visit Charlotte, NC, San Francisco, CA and Sacramento, CA from April 24 to May 4, 2016. The delegates are senior officials from Brazil, Colombia, India, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam.

Locations: Washington, D.C.; Miami, FL; Atlanta, GA

USTDA will host a delegation of senior public and private sector officials from Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania for an East Africa Airports Security and Modernization RTM. The RTM is designed to introduce delegates to U.S. technologies, service providers, operational best practices, financing products and training resources in the areas of airport development, operation and security.

May 3, 2016 Sub-Saharan Africa Gas-to-Power Business Briefing
Location: NRG Arena, Second Level Room 1, Houston, TX

USTDA and the U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC) are sponsoring a Business Briefing for U.S. companies featuring high-level oil and gas sector officials from Angola, Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa. The briefing, which will take place during the Offshore Technology Conference, will highlight opportunities related to market and project development in sub-Saharan Africa's natural gas sector.

May 8 - 13, 2016 Brazil Distribution Automation RTM
Locations: Washington, D.C.; Atlanta, GA; Houston, TX

USTDA will host a Distribution Automation RTM as a part of the Brazil: Clean Energy Exchange Program Phase II. The delegation seeks to modernize their distribution network infrastructure, including metering deployments, by understanding U.S. best practices and technologies.

USTDA will host a China Green Airport Construction RTM to connect U.S. industry with development opportunities overseas. The delegation is interested in procuring cutting-edge green construction equipment and waste recycling technologies from the U.S. for airport construction projects in China.  

June 19 - 21, 2016:  7th U.S. - China Aviation Summit
Location: Washington, D.C.

USTDA is pleased to host the 2016 U.S.-China Aviation Summit in Washington, D.C.  The Summit is an excellent opportunity for U.S. industry and government officials to engage China's senior aviation leaders. Key goals of this event include: identifying commercial opportunities for U.S. businesses, expanding U.S. trade opportunities and introducing U.S. technologies and best practices to China's growing aviation sector.

Jamaica's Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) has published an invitation for proposals to conduct a management and operational audit of the K-Factor Program, a facility supporting the National Water Commission's (NWC) capital-intensive projects.
