USTDA Supports 60 MW Solar Power Plant in Tanzania
ARLINGTON, Va. - Today, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency awarded a grant to NextGen Solawazi Limited to support the development of a 60-megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic power plant in Shinyanga, a city in northwestern Tanzania.

 
USTDA to Highlight Trade & Development Opportunities in Latin America & The Caribbean in October
ARLINGTON, Va.The U.S. Trade and Development Agency will be promoting its programs, as well as potential U.S. export opportunities, in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) on its social media platforms throughout the month of October using the hashtag #ComercioLAC.

 
USTDA Applauds Successful Conclusion of Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Negotiations   
ARLINGTON, Va. - The U.S. Trade and Development Agency applauds today's agreement by all partners of a high-standards Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement.  This 21st century agreement is critical for America's economic leadership, as it puts the United States at the center of a free trade zone covering two-thirds of global GDP.

 
USTDA Strengthens Support for Energy Security in Romania  
BUCHAREST, Romania - Yesterday, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency awarded a grant to Romania's national gas transmission company, Transgaz S.A., a public joint stock company.

 
USTDA Facilitates Energy Security in Morocco  
RABAT, Morocco - Yesterday, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency signed an agreement with Nador West Med SA to fund a feasibility study that will support the implementation of a hydrocarbon storage, blending and distribution terminal at the Port of Nador West Med, Morocco.

 
USTDA Supports New Multi-Commodity Bulk Port in Bargny-Sendou, Senegal 
ARLINGTON, Va. - Today, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency awarded a grant to Senegal Minergy Port (SMP), a Senegalese company created to design, finance, build and operate a new multi-commodity bulk port in Bargny-Sendou.

October 12 - 22, 2015: Air Quality Management Reverse Trade Mission
The U.S. Trade & Development Agency (USTDA) is hosting a delegation of Chinese officials from the Jiangsu Environmental Protection Bureau, China's Ministry of Environmental Protection, and other provincial environmental ministries to familiarize them with U.S. best practices and technologies for air quality management, protection and remediation.
 
November 3-5, 2015: U.S.-India Aviation Summit, Bangalore, India
In collaboration with the U.S.-India Aviation Cooperation Program and the Government of India, USTDA is hosting the  5th U.S.-India Aviation Summit . This event will convene senior representatives from the public and private sectors in both countries to identify opportunities to advance the robust aviation partnership between India and the United States. 

November 1 - 14, 2015: China Smart Grid Technologies Reverse Trade Mission
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will sponsor a Reverse Trade Mission to bring 15 public sector delegates representing China's smart grid sector (National Energy Administration, provincial and municipal grid operators and utilities including China Southern Grid and China State Grid) to the United States to familiarize them with the latest U.S. technologies and best practices in smart grid. 

November 4, 2015: China Smart Grid Technologies Business Briefing
As part of the China Smart Grid Technologies Reverse Trade Mission, there will be a one-day business briefing at the USTDA Business Center in Arlington, VA on November 4th, 2015. This business briefing will provide a forum for the delegates to update attending U.S. companies on the organizations' potential needs and procurements. One-on-one meetings will be arranged for U.S. companies with attending delegates.
