Red Flag Warning in Effect for Round Rock
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Williamson County for Wednesday, Aug. 9, from noon to 9 p.m. and for Thursday, Aug. 10, from noon to 11 p.m. This warning was issued due to high winds and low relative humidity. Red Flag Warnings are likely each afternoon over the next week.

A Red Flag Warning means warm temperatures, very low humidities, and stronger winds are expected to combine to produce an increased risk of fire danger, and any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Any outdoor activity that could produce flames or sparks is discouraged.

Residents are asked to keep in mind the following tips:
  • Properly dispose of cigarettes and matches
  • Do not park on dry grass
  • Avoid outdoor burning

Williamson County is currently under a burn ban.
Board Transition and Elections
This year the Board will transition to full resident control. The elections will take place on October 19, 2023. There will be an opportunity for 3 residents to be elected to the Board. We will have more information in the upcoming week.
Back to School Event
We are excited to provide an opportunity for the kids to celebrate before going back to school. The Board has unanimously approved allowing Social Committee to plan a 2023 Back to School Event sponsored by Association. This is the final request of the Social Committee that the current Board is approving. The new Board will have an opportunity to review and approve requests of the social committee and members for the rest of this year and next year. We will send additional communication out, as soon as the Social Committee finalizes their plans.
Current Board Members
On July 21, Mr. Hence Distel resigned from Taylor Morrison, leaving his seat on the Traditions and Maintenance Boards vacant. Currently, two Board Members serve on Traditions at Vizcaya Board - Michael Slack (Taylor Morrison Representative) and Phani Patelkhana (Resident Representative). Taylor Morrison is working appoint a new Board member to this seat, until the resident elections take place on October 19.
Use of Pavilion
We are delighted to witness residents taking pleasure in the use of the pavilion. Kindly ensure the pavilion area remains tidy, and dispose of any litter either in the metal trash cans or dumpsters located in the parking lot.
Common Area Irrigation
A friendly reminder: The Vizcaya Associations are exempt from drought restrictions as our landscaping is being watering by reclaimed water.
