Maintenance of Bridge Will Require a Portion
of Central Avenue to be Closed
WHEN:
6:00 a.m. on December 2, 2019 until 5:00 p.m. on December 20, 2019 pending weather.
WHERE:
Bridge over Assawoman Canal on Central Avenue between Fred Hudson Road and Atlantic Avenue, north of Ocean View.
WHAT:
DelDOT's contractor, Mumford & Miller Concrete will be doing maintenance work on the bridge.
Detour Routes:
Motorists on Route 1 southbound will continue south and make a right turn onto Garfield Parkway and then turn right to return to Central Avenue.
Motorists going eastbound on Atlantic Avenue will continue east to Route 1 northbound and then make a left turn onto Fred Hudson Road.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
