Traffic Alert: Park Street Closure Between South Frontage Road  South Street

On Saturday, October 22, from 7 AM until 5 PM, Park Street will be closed between South Frontage Road and South Street. This closure includes the sidewalk. The one-block closure is occurring to allow the safe operation of a crane, which will be lifting an MRI machine into Smilow Cancer Hospital.

Please pay attention to road signage, slow down, and stay safe!

Traffic Alert: Inbound Lane Closures

Double and triple lane closures are occurring along the exit ramps that lead into Downtown New Haven from I-91 South and I-95 South.

This will impact drivers who take Exit 1 on I-91 South and drivers who take Exit 47 on I-95 South to enter the City, potentially causing backups especially during the morning rush hour.

While this work is not associated with Downtown Crossing, it is occurring in our project area and we wanted to alert drivers.

This emergency bridge repair work is being performed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) and is expected to last a few weeks. We will keep you informed as we receive more information.

Please pay attention to road signage, slow down, and stay safe!
