BELLE CHASSE, LA. - At 4am on 7/27/23 a pothole was discovered in the Burmaster intersection of LA-23. The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project has instituted emergency repair procedures, including closing the southbound left turn into Burmaster Street and closing the northbound travel lane on LA-23 to correct this issue. Crews are currently on site and updates will follow. |
