FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Traffic Disruptions Throughout Project Area

CALCASIEU PARISH -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces traffic disruptions in multiple location on I-10 Eastbound and Westbound between the Interchange of I-210 and Bilbo Street. These disruptions are scheduled between 7:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. from Monday, November 4 - Thursday November 7.

Additionally, there will be a left travel lane and shoulder closure within the grass buffer strip between I-10 Westbound and the Exit 26 ramp to PPG Drive and US-90 Westbound. This closure will take place between the morning of Tuesday November 5 – the evening of Thursday November 7. During this time, PPG Drive will still be accessible via the intersection of US-90 Westbound, which can be reached through the right travel lane of the exit 26 ramp.

Lane closures may be necessary and will vary. When work is conducted on ramps, ramps will be closed for no more than a 4 hour period. Traffic control will be in place throughout this time.

This work is necessary to conduct pavement borings and CPTs.
