Patient Factors Driving or Hindering Adherence & Compliance by Health Union
Adherence and compliance are important in management of any health condition and the consequences of noncompliance can be dramatic. Understanding the unique explicit challenges patients face, as well as underlying social, cultural, and economic patient factors can help pharma develop better adherence and compliance support strategies.

While each individual has a different set of circumstances that impact their treatment journey, in what ways can treating the whole person make a difference when it comes to adherence and compliance? How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected patient mindset about treatment adherence and compliance?

Supported by data from Health Union’s online health communities, a patient advocate will share their personal experience with medication adherence and compliance, what it means to treat the whole person and ways they think the industry can help.
