To Our Amazing Early Learning Providers, Teachers & Educators...
We are excited to share the following information regarding Emergency Funding for Child Care Providers. Using the federal CARES Act funding the State of Florida has allocated a minimum of $1,200 to eligible child care providers, even if you are not contracted with your local early learning coalition
.
Please read below as you may qualify for some of the funding opportunities.
The criteria
for the two different phases of funding is provided below.
Phase 1 Funding
Providers who were open for business as of April 30, 2020 must meet all of the following:
- Provider must complete a Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) profile at: https://providerservices.floridaearlylearning.com (We have attached a quick tip guide to assist you in completing your profile.)
- Provider has not received any Class I DCF violations within the last 12 months
Provider is not on the USDA disqualified list
- Provider did not have an ELC contract terminated for cause within the last 5 years
Provider completes a W-9 IRS form
Phase 2 Funding
Providers who were closed on April 30, 2020 must meet all of the following
:
- Provider has a plan to reopen by August 1st
- Provider must complete a Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) profile at: https://providerservices.floridaearlylearning.com (We have attached a quick tip guide to assist you in completing your profile.)
- Provider has not received any Class I DCF violations within the last 12 months
Provider is not on the USDA disqualified list
- Provider did not have an ELC contract terminated for cause within the last 5 years
Provider has either Gold Seal Accreditation or CLASS composite score of 3.5 or higher
Provider completes a W-9 IRS form
