BID Director of Operations spoke to authorities and was informed that the southbound A Train derailed at the 125th Street Station. Passengers on the train were safely evacuated. There is an ongoing investigation by MTA and other government agencies (FDNY, NYPD, OEM, and EMS).
A, C, D, and B at 125th Street Station are temporary suspended and not running until further notice.
MTA personal will be available for further direction and services at the 125th Street and St. Nicholas Station.
Shuttles buses are running along the A and C line going South.
People are being advised to take the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 trains.
