Martin Bond's
33km Swim for Charity
Martin Bond (multiple G4G challenger and ex-Board Governor) has just completed the ultimate endurance pool swim. Having had a relay swim across the English Channel postponed this summer due to COVID travel restrictions, Martin swam the entire 33km distance of the English Channel in the pool at Fit Republik in Dubai to raise money for Gulf For Good & the Lebanese Red Cross.

That's 660 lengths of the 50m pool (1,320 lengths of a standard 25m pool!), which took Martin 11+hours to complete. In doing so, Martin has so far raised over AED30,000 towards his target of AED33,000 to help those in need in Lebanon further to the disastrous Beirut explosion in August this year.

Donations are very much appreciated to help achieve the last few thousand dirhams - please consider supporting Martin for this marathon swim effort.
We are pleased to share our 2019-2020 annual report. It has been a challenging year, but we are proud to share positive results with you.

Thank you to all of our community and partners that have supported us through this trying year.

AED 25,673 raised so far:

Our overall wrap-up of the challenge will follow next week with a special finale. Watch this space!

Special Thanks to Murdoch University students
A special thank you to Noor Ul Ain, Khyati Megchiani, Aishani Zafar, Eve Thomas, Sabreena Sequeira, Praveen Bhardwaj and Wafa Osman for their fantastic work for their course assessment at Murdoch University. The team of students chose to do a project based on G4G operating in the new virtual world impacted by Covid-19 and developed a proposal for organising a virtual gala ball. They gave a brilliant final presentation and we were thoroughly impressed.
Well done Murdoch University!
