A Word From Our Director

Greetings Training Depot Families! We are excited to announce that we are partnering with NCA in a building wide theme for this school year. Our theme for this school year is "Be the Light". If you would like to order a t-shirt for yourself or your child, here is the link: trainingdepot.org/bethelight. Shirts cost $12 each. All orders and money will be collected on this link. All orders are due by Friday, October 8th. Students may wear this shirt any day, but we will have a special Spirit dress emphasis on our “House of Hope” days.

Also, we want to introduce Ms. Deanna Canelos, our new Training Depot Bookkeeper. Her email is tdbookkeeper@fwfnca.org. We are so thankful for all of Ms. Lisa's hard work in this position for the past year and a half; she is still with us at Training Depot but Ms. Deanna is taking over the position as bookkeeper. We appreciate your patience as she learns all of the 'ins & outs' of this position. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact her at the above email address or at 817.297.7003 ext. 111.

Notes were sent home last week letting you know of a loss in our Training Depot family. Last week a Father of one of our Pre-K children passed from complications due to covid. This Mother & child have no other family in the area so all help is greatly appreciated! We are collecting financial donations as well as gift cards & ‘comfort’ donations. If you’d like to donate a financial gift, please put it in an envelope marked ‘special offering’ and place it in the tuition box. If you would like to donate gift cards or comfort items, please turn those into one of our office staff. All donations will need to be turned in by Friday, October 1. This Mother has already been so blessed by several families donating funds to help with her son's tuition and she has asked that I express her HUGE THANKS to everyone who has helped her! Please be in prayer for this Mother and her young son! We are praying God’s peace and strength for them thru all of this!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

*NCA BOOK FAIR - NCA is having a book fair this week. It will still be open tomorrow, Friday, from 7:30am-12pm. You are welcome to bring your child and shop for children's books.

*SOCCER SHOTS - Soccer Shots is in full swing for this school year but it's not too late to register for these classes! Soccer Shots classes are offered for these age groups: Alligators, Dolphins, Kangaroos, Giraffes, & Pre-K. The fall Soccer Shots season will continue every Friday thru November 19th. Chapel Notes:

Each week I like to let you know what we learned in this week's chapel as well as sharing with you the bible verse that your child is learning for this week and next week. Each classroom has 'BLUE' tickets for bible verse memory. Children can earn a red ticket for behavior as well as a blue ticket for memorizing their bible verse each week. When they earn a blue ticket, they will have the opportunity at pick up time to stop by my office and share their bible memory with me as well as choose a prize! This is a great way to help them hide God's word in their hearts at a young age! See your child's teacher or one of our office staff if you have any questions.

Chapel last week was led by the Raccoon class; we learned the story of creation from Genesis chapters 1 & 2. Each child held a sign displaying what God created on each day. Chapel closed with the Raccoons singing 'Our God is So Big, So Strong & So Mighty'. This week the Owl class led chapel. They taught us about the story of Noah and the Ark from Genesis chapters 6-9. The children shared the story of the animals boarding the ark 2 by 2 and God sending the rainbow to remind Noah that He will always keep His promises. Chapel closed with the Owls singing "Noah Built a Great Big Ark".

Next week the Giraffe class will lead chapel.

Save the Date! We are planning and preparing for our upcoming Fall Fest on Sunday, October 31, from 5-7pm. We will have a special area set up called 'Toddler Town' for all our little toddlers to be able to enjoy the fun along with the older children! Hope your family plans to join us!

I pray this Family DEVO is a blessing to you and your children. Each devotional includes activities, a blessing to speak over your children and a Take the Lead segment where you can introduce them to the lesson I'll be sharing at our church this coming Sunday.

We'd love to have you join us if you do not already have a church home. If you do have your own church home, this is still a devotional that you can enjoy together as a family. Our church has age appropriate Children's Church for children ages 3 years old thru Pre-K called 'Treehouse' and 'Clubhouse' is for children ages Kindergarten thru 6th grade. There is also a nursery provided for children 2 years old and younger.
