Hello to Our Agency CFO Team,
As you may know, the Division of Purchases has been focusing on training since the beginning of the year, starting with the RIFANS Requisitioner Trainings. As a continuation of our training implementation, we are scheduling LIVE Purchases 101 session that includes the following topics of interest:
- An overview of working with the Division of Purchases
- R.I. Gen. Laws §37-2-1, ET. SEQ. ("State Purchases Act")
- Procurement Regulations and General Conditions of Purchase
- Public Procurement Concepts
- Determining the Procurement Method
- Access to Agency Resources
- Code of Ethics and Professional Behavior
This training is geared towards those who want to learn more about the Procurement Process, Regulations and Statutes as it relates to your agency's procurements. Kindly circulate this email to all individuals who may benefit from the training. This will be a LIVE Instructor-Lead session with a maximum seating capacity of 60 attendees at the Department of Administration, 1 Capitol Hill, Providence RI in Conference room 2A on the second floor.
