This training program covers a variety of action techniques, methods and applications. It will provide useful action techniques from a solid theoretical base. These trainings are for people new or experienced in psychodrama. This training is trauma sensitive and informed. Action based explorations cannot be fully trained in 24 hours. However this training offers and experience in the effectiveness of working in action. Action methods can greatly enhance and enliven how you work and are with others. These methods and the underlying philosophy can be applied to therapeutic as well as non therapeutic settings, with groups or individuals.

We will practice the subtle art of transferring the narrative into action, and developing a close knowledge of working in action. Action explorations are powerful and effective, fostering spontaneity and creativity. They bring the unconscious and the body into the work. Participants will have the opportunity to explore how working in action can be applied to any group, and in families, for couples, and in individual therapy. This training will provide a trauma informed, safe, supportive and confidential environment to experience action explorations, and aspects of psychodramatic enactment, while learning about role dynamics and the overall process of working effectively with groups.

Here you will have the opportunity to expand your own personal power while enjoying the profound support and connection of an engaged learning community. Simultaneously, you will increase your professional knowledge and skills.

Participants may earn 24 training credits toward American Board of Examiners Certification.
This training is intended to be socially conscious and economically affordable. If you are called, please call me. we will meet in person over the summer to further consider the possibility of participation. You decide how much you are able to pay for these 8 sessions. Fee is between 450 and 1200.
