February is Black History month. We honor and recognize the African-American trans individuals and loved ones who boldly step forward to acknowledge the intersections of race and gender, and so much more.  The organizations, blogs, individuals, and films listed below are just a few of the great leaders and activists in our community.

FORGE is a progressive organization whose mission is to support, educate and advocate for the rights and lives of transgender individuals and SOFFAs (Significant Others, Friends, Family, and Allies).
