Congratulations to those of you who submitted an application for a Spring/Winter 2022 transfer! Remember that your application process continues! Be sure to update your financial aid application: FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application. Sign up for our remaining workshops to stay informed about the next steps in your application process.

Fall 2022 transfers, now is the time to begin preparing to submit your transfer admissions application(s). Be sure to check out our application workshops below.

Attention UC and CSU Winter/Spring 2022 Applicants
You're Not Done Yet!

Hitting the submit button is only the first step in your application process. Make sure to continue to closely monitor your email communications and portals (if applicable) Remember that there are other steps you must take to ensure your application continues to be considered. For example, some universities will require a supplemental application in addition to your initial application. Take advantage of our remaining workshops to stay informed on your next steps!
Some CSUs Are Still Open for Spring 2022 Admission!


Some Cal States have extended their application deadlines for Spring 2022 admission. Be sure to check out the
Cal State Apply website for more details.

Humboldt State University (Some majors only)
San Francisco State University (Some majors only)

Attention UC Fall 2022 Applicants!
TAG, You're In.
The Transfer Admission Guarantee application is now open for Fall 2022 applicants. Six UC Campuses offer the TAG program for California community college students who meet specific requirements. By participating in TAG, you may receive early review of your academic records, early admission notification(for some campuses only), and specific guidance about major preparation.
Applications are due on September 30 and you can only TAG one campus!
We encourage you to join us for a UC workshop to find out more about TAG.

The UC Application is now open, but you cannot submit it until November 1-30. Start working on your application early on and reach out to the Transfer Center if you have questions.  
  
Assistance with your application essays! 

All UCs require a personal insight statement as part of their admissions application as well as some private and out-of state universities. 
  
The Transfer Center is virtually available to help with your essay reviews by appointment.

Attention CSU Fall 2022 Applicants!
The Fall 2022 application cycle opens on October 1, 2021. If you will be eligible to apply this Fall, make sure that you submit an application between October 1- November 30. If you need assistance with the application, please reach out to the Transfer Center and/or sign up for our application workshops.

Paying for College!


Spring 2022 transfers, be sure to log in to your current FAFSA or CA Dream Act application (2021-2022) to update it with the campuses you have applied to.

Both the FAFSA and the California Dream Act application will open for submission beginning October 1 for the 2022-2023 academic year.
The FAFSA application has a priority deadline of March 2, whereas the CADA application final deadline is March 2.
