Time to Stock Up on Winter Clearance
Just a reminder from your SERVE ministry that stores will soon be putting their winter scarves, mittens and hats on clearance. Now is the time to pick up a few to add to our Christmas In July tree to benefit Christmas Is For Kids.

If you are a crafty person and wish to make some, they would be a very welcome addition.

ILC member Donna Bellerose lost a set of keys that have sentimental value. If you find the set, please give them to any usher, to pastor, or Donna.There are three keys, large, medium and tiny. They are on a silver bob with a Norse character on the chain. The bob was Donna's father's. You may also email Donna if you come across them.
WELCA Regioanal Retreat
April 27-29
The regional WELCA Spiritual Retreat will be held April 27 to April 29, 2018 in Connecticut. The registration fee of $275 includes two nights lodging, all meals, and programs. See the registration form here .
Helpers Needed
Do you have a few hours every month to help clean the church? We are in need of people who could disinfect doors/handles, vacuum heat vents, clean out light covers, wash windows, scrub the linoleum, etc. Please call the office if you can help keep ILC spic-and-span!
Reach the Beach 2018
Organizers are putting together Calumet's Reach the Beach 2018 roster. If you or someone you know might like to run in the event, visit the Calumet website ! There is a limited number of runner spots. We gather at suppertime at Calumet on Sept. 13 for the team dinner and we cross the Hampton Beach, NH finish line at suppertime on Sept. 15.

Runners make a $100 donation as a way of claiming their running spot and agree to raise money for Calumet. Each runner will be matched with a congregation sponsor and many of them provide financial support to “their runner." The 2018 goal for Reach the Beach is $109,000.
WELCA Gathering Wrap-Up
At the Women of the ELCA retreat last Saturday, members made six fleece no-sew blankets. Two of the blankets were given to little girls battling serious illnesses. Please continue to keep these girls in your prayers!
