—for the sick, especially Maria da Silva, John Guerriero, Elsa Henderson, Yvette Romero, Enmanuel Del Valle, Patricia Castro, Michael Harrill, Eileen Elvin, Geralda Masi, Katie Roland, Peter Tan, Wayne Mullings, Theodore Merkle, Jr., Debbie Fairchild Harding, Vic Harding, Mary & Carl Milewski, Therese Fergo, Maria Gianino, Yolanda Mendez Acevedo, Anne Rader, Robyn Nishimi, Paul Gruber, and Blanca Rose Juarez; and

for Pope Francis' August intention: that World Youth Day in Lisbon will help young people to live and witness the Gospel in their own lives; and

—for the pilgrims from St. Matthew's attending World Youth Day.

Pray for World Youth Day Pilgrims

Twelve youth from our parish—Sergio, Jenny, Cynthia, Jaasiel, Janela, Jocelyn, Lesley, Luduim, Marely, Marilyn, Mia & Bryan—are attending World Youth Day in Lisbon (August 1 - 6) with chaperones Fr. John Benson and Robert Torres. Please pray for them and all of the 29,000 pilgrims from the U. S. expected to join Pope Francis for this celebration!

SEE WYD PRAYER

Thank you to all who have donated to help our pilgrims attend the WYD celebration! We can look forward to a photo gallery of the St. Matthew's World Youth Day experience, and shared reflections from the pilgrims after their return.
