Did you know that there are over 400,000 children in the foster care system nationwide? FamilyForward's foster care case management program supports children and families within the foster care system by supporting biological families in reunification, providing trauma-informed care, and aiding placement providers in caring for vulnerable children.

In 2023 alone, our team of trained case managers served 484 youth. They helped these children feel safe in temporary placements as they began their healing journey. Additionally, our case managers supported biological families with reunification by providing educational resources and services.

This National Foster Care Month, we want to express our gratitude for the wholehearted work of our foster care team, who support individuals and families as they navigate the foster care system. Without their dedication, we would not be able to build pathways for hope and healing in our community.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

We know that trauma directly impacts the mental health of the children and families that we serve. Our programs utilize a comprehensive and respectful approach to understanding developmental trauma and its impact on mental health while providing families with the therapeutic and educational services needed to lead healthier and more hopeful lives.
