Belvidere is getting back to work! Stellantis announced plans to produce a mid-size pickup truck right here in our community, bringing back more than 1,500 autoworkers to the facility. The plant is expected to reopen by 2027, marking a significant step forward for our regional economy.

This isn’t just about jobs at the plant — it’s about the impact across our entire region. When 1,500 people are back on the job, earning a strong paycheck, local businesses, schools, and services all benefit.
