As a result of the Border Experience Pilgrimage, we strengthened relationships with people of faith assisting migrants in the Imperial Valley and Calexico, offered emotional support to people on the inside, won media attention, and deepened our collective resolve to end the racism, exclusion and detention that separate families and cause deep suffering.
This fall, we will be conducting two pilgrimages: one focused on Black reparations through a spiritual journey to Allensworth and the other, our second pilgrimage to the remaining immigration detention centers across the state.
Pilgrimage is an act of witness, unity, sacred memory, and a commitment to a new way forward.
Will you support this work of transformation to strengthen solidarity, draw connections between past and present, and create beloved community to work for healing and repair?
Your gift of $60 or $100 helps create powerful pilgrimages that transform.
