All of us at generative somatics (gs) feel incredibly grateful. In 2018, gs community members contributed a wide range of resources to gs - time, energy, skills, wisdom, spirit, partnership and... money! Below, w e've written a special thank you to the 400+ people who donated to gs.

We look forward to continuing to develop our organizational practice of Transformative Resourcing. A big part of that will be to build and deepen our relationships with current and potential gs donors and funders (many of YOU!). Here are some opportunities to connect with this work:

Transformative Leaders in Philanthropy (TLP): In 2019, gs and the Ford Foundation are again partnering to offer TLP to Ford Foundation staff members, along with leadership (board, staff, and members) from other foundations and funder networks, as well as those who identify as major donors. Embodied Donor Organizers: We will continue to resource gs in ways that align with our organizational values, strategy and vision. There will be opportunities to build your own leadership in this work. Please contact us to express interest and find out more.

Important impact --

Donations allow gs to make programs accessible to innovative movement leaders; to poor and working class communities and communities of color; and to choose partnerships based on alignment with our values and strategy, not on financial capacity.
Contributions from individuals give gs capacity to take risks, experiment, and innovate -- further developing theory and practice for the integration of embodied leadership, trauma healing, political education and community organizing.
And finally, especially in 2019, donations support gs to build the strong and sustainable organization we need to meet the expressed desire for our work in social and environmental justice movements, and to fully implement our Strategic Priorities.
