Beacon Update

Accessible Parking

As part of the work on the new parking lot, crews are creating six temporary handicap-accessible spaces near the front entrance. This adjustment allows us to improve access sooner rather than later, ensuring that patients, families, visitors, and staff with disabilities have a dignified and convenient arrival experience while construction is underway. Once these spaces are complete—anticipated in March—the construction fencing will be moved back to make those spots easily accessible. This is a small but meaningful way we continue to make our campus more inclusive and supportive.

Campus Construction Update

Recent snow and prolonged cold temperatures have caused additional delays across several construction areas. Crews have continued work where conditions allow, and progress will accelerate as weather improves.

Parking & Pedestrian Bridge

We are awaiting Duke Energy’s timeline for installation of the power pole in the new parking lot. Once installed, electrical service can be run to the parking lot.
The pedestrian bridge is currently being erected and is expected to take a few more weeks to complete.
Final paving will occur once weather conditions moderate enough to support asphalt work.

Sibcy House Addition

Roofing will be completed once temperatures allow.
Framing work is ongoing.
Drywall installation is expected to begin in the next couple of weeks.
Behind the scenes, planning continues for:
Fitness equipment
AV systems
Kitchen equipment
Furniture (RFP is currently out; vendor selection anticipated by March)
Flooring, paint colors, and other interior finishes

Medical Office Building (MOB)

Concrete footers and foundation walls are underway.
Rebar is being placed in preparation for future concrete pours.
Concrete plants have been closed due to cold temperatures but are expected to reopen next week.
Once reopened, foundation pours will resume.
Steel delivery is anticipated within the next month. At that point, the structure will begin rising above ground, making visible progress on the building.

Touchdown for Hope🏈 - $167,000 Raised!

Lindner Center of Hope welcomed more than 270 registrants to Touchdown for Hope, a premier Super Bowl watch party benefiting mental health education, on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Great American Ball Park Champions Club.

The event raised more than $167,000 before expenses in support of a new Educational Institute, an innovative initiative designed to expand mental health outreach, education, and understanding for learners throughout the community.

Touchdown for Hope is Lindner Center of Hope’s signature fundraising event, offering a high-energy, upscale watch-party experience. Guests enjoyed wall-to-wall big-screen TVs, plush seating, and a spirited tailgate atmosphere inside one of Cincinnati’s most iconic sports venues, overlooking the baseball field.

Attendees were treated to Cincinnati favorites including LaRosa’s Pizza, Skyline Chili, Montgomery Inn ribs, United Dairy Farmers ice cream, and more.
