$1 Million. Endless Stories. A New Chapter Begins.

We are proud to announce a transformative $1-million investment in the ECISD Library Refresh Project - an initiative that reimagines what school libraries can be for today's students and tomorrow's leaders.

This investment represents more than updated spaces; it's a commitment to creating dynamic, student-centered environments where curiosity thrives. Across the district, libraries will be revitalized to include flexible seating, modern technology, collaborative workspaces, and engaging literacy resources that reflect the diverse interests and needs of our students.

In a rapidly changing world, libraries are no longer just places to check out books—they are hubs of innovation, creativity, and exploration. Through this project, students will have greater access to hands-on learning opportunities, digital tools, and inviting spaces that inspire both independent reading and collaborative discovery.

The ECISD Library Refresh Project also supports educators by providing enhanced instructional spaces that encourage creativity in teaching and learning. These refreshed libraries will serve as vibrant extensions of the classroom—places where imagination meets opportunity.

This $1-million investment is a powerful statement: we believe in our students, we believe in our educators, and we believe in the role that inspiring learning environments play in shaping success.

Together, we are building more than libraries—we are building futures. If you'd like to learn more about this opportunity, please contact Celeste at 432-456-7059.

T.A.P. Grant In Action!

Because of the generosity of our investors, innovative ideas are coming to life in classrooms across our district! Through the Teacher Assistance Program (T.A.P.), educators are turning inspiration into impact - creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that engage and empower students every day.

Reagan Elementary First Grade Teacher, Brittany Looney, recently received a T.A.P. Grant for $500 that allowed her to purchase additional STEM resources to allow students to work independently and in groups to get creative with their own designs.

From sparking creativity to strengthening critical thinking skills, this simple T.A.P. project is a powerful example of what happens when we invest in our teachers and students. Want to get involved and become a T.A.P. program sponsor? Call Celeste today at 432-456-7059.

Sparking Inspiration!

The Inspiration Station continues to spark inspiration and children's imagination everywhere it goes. Recently, the Inspiration Station was invited to participate in Zavala Elementary's STEM Family Night to provide engaging, hands-on STEM activities for families. Students and families that visited the Inspiration Station explored paleontology, robotics, electrical circuits, and static electricity and also got to take home free books.

In the photo, students succeeded in saving the Earth from an asteroid using an electrical circuit involving simple potatoes and a Makey Makey circuit board. Dr. Whittenburg was a bit excited!
