Educators recently awarded Innovation and Leadership Grants

On January 31st, Bishop Caggiano and Foundations in Education hosted the 2nd Annual Innovation and Leadership Grant Awards Ceremony at the Discovery Museum in Bridgeport. Twenty-six grants, totaling $125,000 to benefit Catholic schools in the Diocese of Bridgeport, were awarded to educators in support of their creative project. Grants funded through this program are intended for transformative initiatives that benefit multiple grade levels and have a long-term impact on student learning.

Helping Families Afford Catholic Education
We are pleased to announce that the application process to the Bishop's Scholarship Fund is officially open.
In a recent survey to parents, 86% of respondents indicated that they were not certain they could afford Catholic education if not for the Bishop's Scholarship Fund. Many respondents shared their gratitude through testimonials such as the one below.

"Our dream has always been to send our children to Catholic schools. We have 4 kids, so it's a big sacrifice but we know this investment will benefit our children for the rest of their lives, so we are happy to make those sacrifices.
