Pennsylvania Community Transit Industry Faces a Potential Crisis

The following video highlights a concern that rabbittransit shares with our transit peer from Crawford Area Transportation Authority. rabbittransit joins state transit agencies and stakeholder groups across the Commonwealth to cancel RFA 28-18 the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) Broker solicitation. Pennsylvania maintains the 5th lowest average trip cost in the nation for this non-emergency medical transportation program and is a national model for success. RFA 28-18 threatens to dismantle this coordination! Watch this 2-minute video to learn more!

rabbittransit Launches Distracted Driving Awareness Campaign

Distracted driving is bad for everyone. At rabbittransit SAFETY is a core value. We have stepped up our game to reduce distracted driving. Internally, we have kicked off an “On the Road – Off the Phone” campaign. rabbittransit cannot tolerate cellphone use by our employees while driving rabbittransit vehicles. 3P Ride Awarded Enterprise Holdings Foundation Grant

Save the Date: Give Local York 3P Ride will join local community organizations in a 24-hour giving event on Friday, May 3 for Give Local York. 3P Ride’s goal is to raise $20,000 to provide 4,500 trips to local residents in order to: Help Seniors age in place, in the homes they love. Offer veterans access to the Lebanon VA Hospital. Support the battle of social isolation. Connect our neighbors to healthy food opportunities.  Provide individuals access to life-sustaining healthcare. Help us reach our goal by donating on May 3. Each dollar donated will be stretched further with bonus funds provided by Give Local York sponsors.

TPOM Meeting: Adams & Franklin Counties

The Transportation Partnership on Mobility (TPOM) is made up of several advisory groups that meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month, rotating throughout various counties, within the rabbittransit service area. These groups meet to discuss solutions for issues related to local and regional public transportation. The next meeting of the Transportation Partnership on Mobility (TPOM) will be on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at rabbittransit: 257 N. Fourth Street, Rear, Gettysburg, PA at 10:30 AM. Mobile Markets Return on Friday, May 31

In partnership with York Fresh Food Farms, rabbittransit will once again host fresh produce Mobile Markets at the Transfer Center. Join us from 3:00PM-5:30PM every Friday beginning May 31 through October for locally grown, reasonably priced produce. The Mobile Market is conveniently located at the Transfer Center in downtown York at 213 W. King Street.
