Enter the Creation Zone
Here’s your Transition Tuesday update for the week of January 25...
This week’s hooray: Goodbye old carpet!
Last week it was out with the old; this week it’s in with the new as we move into the construction phase aka The Creation Zone.
The old carpeting is finally gone, and no one is happier than construction chief Bob Duvall. Bob has spent some long, hard days pulling, scraping and sanding to remove carpeting that appears to have been there since biblical times. A personal hooray and much gratitude to Bob, and to those who showed up to help.
On Sunday, many of us got our first look at the new space, when we gathered post-celebration to write our prayers, affirmations, and intentions onto the walls. Those words will be sealed forever beneath coats of fresh paint. It was a beautiful, symbolic reminder that WE are RGCSL: our thoughts, our intentions, and our commitment continually creating our home together.
This week, construction began with the framing of walls for the sound booth and restroom area. The construction team reminds us that the Creation Zone is also a construction zone. So in the interest of safety, they request that, unless you are working with the skilled construction team, you refrain from visiting in the coming weeks.
