Transition Updates

October 2021
WHAT'S NEW
2021-2022 Community of Practice (CoP) for Transition and Employment Designees (TEDs)
The Transition Employment Designee (TED) is the person responsible for transition services in the Local Education Agency (LEA) or the Shared Services Arrangement (SSA). The Community of Practice (CoP) is a facilitated community of TEDs that creates and develops materials, resources, and training to improve the continuity of service from each TED in every LEA.
The CoP is an opportunity for TEDs to provide feedback to the Student-Centered Transitions Network (SCTN) about topics related to the job duties of the TED.

For information on how you can participate in future TED Community of Practice groups, contact your local Education Service Center (ESC) Transition Specialist.
