Transition to High School Night - Thursday
We are looking forward to our Transition to High School Night on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Fr. Brisson Hall. All HCA parents and students are welcome to attend.

The event will begin in Fr. Brisson Hall at 7:00 p.m. with a presentation from Ms. Melissa Yakabouski, director of undergraduate admissions at Mary Washington University. Ms. Yakabouski will talk about what college admission officers are looking for when they review a student’s high school transcript and records. She will also speak about how families can work to find a college or university that is the best match for each child.

By 7:30, parents and students will make their way to classrooms to meet with representatives from a number of local private and public schools. There will be three 20-minute sessions that families can attend to learn more about the high school options available in our region.

We have confirmed visits with representatives from:

Colonial Forge High School
Commonwealth Governor's School
Fredericksburg Academy
Fredericksburg Christian School
Mountain View High School / International Baccalaureate Program
St. John Paul the Great High School
St. Margaret's
St. Michael the Archangel High School
Summit School
Woodberry Forest

We are looking forward to this informative event for HCA families!
