Dear JTED Families:

Pima JTED is preparing to transition to our hybrid instructional plan on Monday, Oct. 26 for our students attending the following campuses:

  • JTED @ Amphi Land Lab
  • JTED @ The Bridges
  • JTED @ Camino Seco
  • JTED @ Master Pieces
  • JTED @ TRANE
  • JTED @ Walden Grove

Our Central Campus JTED programs which are located at Pima Community College and on high school sites are scheduled to transition to this plan on dates determined by Pima Community College or the school districts in which they are located. Please view our COVID-19 web pages for an updated schedule of campus re-openings.

You and your student will receive a hybrid schedule approximately one week before the campus reopens which will show the days and times your student is to attend class in-person for hands-on skills, and which days and times your student will participate in asynchronous learning online. You will be asked to acknowledge that you have received and accept your schedule, as times may vary from your original enrollment.

All students and staff will follow the CDC and Pima County Health Department COVID-19 protocols we’ve put in place to keep everyone safe while on campus. Cloth masks are required to enter campus buildings. If your student does not have a mask, JTED will provide one.

Before your student returns to campus, we are requesting that Parents and Guardians complete and return the COVID-19 Parental Acknowledgement and Disclosure form. Click the link or the image of the form below. Once you have completed the pdf fillable form, save your file and use the submit button to email it to our Director of Student Services, Amanda Simeza:

Your student may choose to continue with online learning only, and will receive high school credit for the course. However, due to State and industry requirements which are beyond our control, your student may not be able to earn an industry credential or a state license upon program completion without hands-on skills training. Please take our survey to indicate if your student will be returning to campus, or wishes to continue with online learning only. You may contact one of our counselors if your decision changes during the year.
I want to thank our students and instructors who have done a tremendous job of adapting to online learning during these tough times, and I want our parents and guardians to know that we appreciate the additional support you’ve been providing your student. Due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, reopening dates are subject to change. Please check our website for the latest news. We are dedicated to our students’ success, and hope to make a full return to normal operations in the near future.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
