The Census 2020: What You Need to Know
The United States 2020 Census will count every person living the 50 states, District of Columbia and five U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands). Each home will receive an invitation to respond to a short questionnaire—online, by phone or by mail. This will mark the first time that respondents will be able to respond to the census online.

A complete Census count helps ensure that services like transportation and other vital programs support states, counties and communities. Take a moment and get the facts about the 2020 Census and what it can mean for your community. Review the basics,  or take a deeper dive into all of the work it takes to  conduct the 2020 count .
