New Brightline Stations Now Open!


Brightline, the only privately owned and operated intercity passenger railroad in the United States along with its partners in Boca Raton, Aventura, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties, recently celebrated the opening of the new Aventura and Boca Raton train stations. Brightline now has five stations in South Florida and will connect travelers to existing stations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. A sixth station at Orlando International Airport is planned to open this year.

Safe Streets Summit


The Safe Streets Summit is a collaborative effort between the Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization, Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the Palm Beach TPA to provide a local yet regionally connected approach to prioritizing and implementing Complete Streets throughout Southeast Florida. The 2023 Safe Streets Summit will be held on February 2-3 in Hollywood, FL. Registration has been extended to January 22!

Notice Of Funding Opportunity the FY 2023 RAISE Grant


The US Department of Transportation has published the Notice Of Funding Opportunity for the FY 2023 RAISE Grant. The RAISE Discretionary Grant Program helps communities build transportation projects that have significant local or regional impact and improve safety and equity. This grant is funded for $1.5B and is open for application until Feb 28, 2023.
