West Palm Move

West Palm Beach's newest transit service has officially launched. Palm Beach MPO staff rode West Palm Move on its first day of fixed-route service. The new all-electric service connects Northwood Village and the Norton Museum of Art, with vehicles arriving every 8–10 minutes. Rides are $1 per trip, providing a convenient way to travel throughout the service area with hop-on, hop-off service at designated stops. Beginning September 15, West Palm Move will also offer on-demand rides throughout its service area. Learn more about West Palm Move, including routes and fares, at WPBMove.com.

Park(ing) Day

Park(ing) Day is September 18, 2026!

Each year, communities around the world celebrate Park(ing) Day by temporarily transform parking spaces into creative public spaces and reimagine how streets can serve people in different ways. Activities can turn parking spaces into temporary parks, gathering areas, art installations, or other community-focused spaces that promote safer, greener, and more people-friendly streets.

Park(ing) Day provides an opportunity to explore how public spaces can support walking, biking, community connections, and vibrant places. Learn more and find resources to participate at myparkingday.org.

Child Passenger Safety Week

Child Passenger Safety Week will be observed September 20–26, 2026. The week provides an opportunity to share important information about car seat safety, including how to select the appropriate car seat based on a child’s weight and height, properly install it, and know when it is time to transition to the next type of seat. National Seat Check Saturday will take place on September 26, providing an opportunity for parents and caregivers to have their child’s car seat checked for proper installation and use.
