See Tracks? Think Train Week

September 15 - 21 was "See Tracks, Think Train" week. Our team joined the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) at the West Palm Beach Tri-Rail station to promote rail safety education. Although the week has passed, rail safety remains a year-round priority. Let’s keep the conversation going and work together to spread awareness and promote safe habits near train tracks all year long!

Funding and Grant Opportunities

Florida’s Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program is now accepting applications for safety infrastructure grants available to eligible schools and local government agencies.

The "Trails Across America" grant program will fund cast aluminum historical markers along greenways, canal paths, and former rail lines turned trails. These markers will honor local heritage while strengthening connections between communities.

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Funding Opportunities Table, updated by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), highlights eligibility for pedestrian and bicycle activities and projects across USDOT surface transportation programs.
