Florida Bicycle Month Ride

The TPA finished Florida Bicycle Month in March with a group bicycle ride to celebrate bicycling and raise awareness of bicycle safety. Thanks to everyone who joined us and to BrightBike for making it possible for those who do not own a bicycle to participate. Special thanks to TPA Board Member, Port of Palm Beach Commissioner Deandre Poole and Port of Palm Beach Commissioner Wayne Richards for joining the ride!

The Glades Road DDI at I-95 opened in final configuration on April 3 – almost a month ahead of the original projected completion date of May 1, 2023. Lake Park Vision Zero Resolution

Congratulations to the Town of Lake Park for its commitment to safety and passing a Vision Zero Resolution! Vision Zero starts with the ethical belief that all people have the right to move safely in their communities. We are excited to see Lake Park make even more strides toward bringing the number of traffic-related deaths and serious injuries to zero.

Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant Program

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) established a SS4A discretionary grant program with $5 billion in appropriated funds over 5 years. The SS4A FY 2023 grant application window is now open through July 10, 2023 to fund regional, local, & Tribal initiatives to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries.
