Florida Bicycle Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling and encourage everyone to give bicycling a try. There are many ways to get involved: join our TPA ride, watch webinars, get your municipality to sign a proclamation or organize your own ride!
TPA Florida Bicycle Month Ride
Join our Annual Florida Bicycle Month Ride on March 11! Celebrate Florida Bicycle Month with a 3.2-mile scenic ride in downtown West Palm Beach. No bike? No problem! The Biden Administration has released a fact sheet on the Competitive Infrastructure Funding Opportunities for Local Governments included in the (Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA)/ Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The fact sheet includes information about application openings and where to apply. 
Safe Street Summit 2022
The TPA co-hosted the 9th Annual Safe Streets Summit in Miami last week and is proud to announce this year's Safe Streets Award winners for Palm Beach County! Congratulations to City of Palm Beach Gardens Vice Mayor and TPA Vice Chair Chelsea Reed on being named the Safe Streets Champion for her work in advancing Vision Zero, pedestrian and bicycle safety, transit and Transit-Oriented Development in her community. We also congratulate the Village of Palm Springs for being awarded the Complete Streets Community after adopting a Transportation Mobility Plan, becoming a Vision Zero community and supporting the first separated bicycle lanes in Palm Beach County along a high crash corridor alongside the TPA and FDOT!
