Brant Bridge Construction Update

Check out the construction progress on the Brant Bridge in the City of Delray Beach and the City of Boca Raton! The first photo is from October 2021 and the second is from mid-June 2022. When complete, the bridge will also have 10-foot shared use paths, added lighting, upgraded signage and reconstructed sidewalks south of the bridge. This project is being funded by the TPA's Local Initiatives Funding Program. Only a few more months to go until completion!

Dump the Pump Proclamation

National #DumpthePump Day took place on Friday, June 17, 2022. Held every third week in June, this day aims to encourage people to ride public transportation instead of driving. Our Governing Board presented a proclamation with Palm Tran on Thursday, June 16 to honor this annual event!

Grant Opportunities 

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) established the new Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) discretionary program with $5 billion in appropriated funds over the next five years. In fiscal year 2022 (FY22), up to $1 billion is available. The application process is now open for communities to apply for funding to support regional, local, and Tribal plans, projects and strategies that will prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. Village of Royal Palm Beach Public Meeting


The Village of Royal Palm Beach, hosted a Workshop on Thursday, June 23 to solicit input from the community on the future of SR-7. We discussed the future of land use and mobility along SR-7 in the Village and transit-oriented development opportunities. The TPA is a funding partner for this effort being led by the Village of Royal Palm Beach and developed by the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council.
