Love to Ride Challenge


The Florida Love to Ride Challenge is coming to an end. TPA staff went on 113 rides for a total of 788 miles cycled so far! There is one day left in the challenge, be sure to log all of your rides for a chance to win prizes.

Port of Palm Beach Tour


TPA Board members, City of Boca Raton Council Member Yvette Drucker and City of Greenacres Mayor Joel Flores, staff and members of the public, had a great time touring the Port of Palm Beach this month! Did you know it's the 4th busiest container port of Florida's 14 deepwater ports? Tour participants were able to see shipping containers throughout the port, raw sugar storage, rail facilities, the Margaritaville at Sea cruise and more!

Safe Streets Summit


The Safe Streets Summit is a collaborative effort between the Miami-Dade Transportation Planning Organization, Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization, and the Palm Beach TPA to provide a local yet regionally connected approach to prioritizing and implementing Complete Streets throughout Southeast Florida. The 2023 Safe Streets Summit will be held on February 2-3 in Hollywood, FL. Take advantage of the early bird rates!


The Safe Streets Awards are an opportunity to highlight individuals and jurisdictions that have led by example in creating better streets for all users. The deadline for nominations is December 15.

SUNTrail Grant

 

The Florida Department of Transportation will solicit new requests for funding Regional and Individual Trail projects through the Shared-Use Nonmotorized SUNTrail program for inclusion in the work program development cycle. Projects programmed this cycle will be funded as early as Fiscal Years 2028/29. The solicitation window closes December 15.

Community Traffic Safety Grant


Applications are now open for the latest round of Road to Zero Community Traffic Safety Grants. Funded by NHTSA, these grants support projects, programs and research that put the Road to Zero strategy into practice and help achieve our mission of zero traffic deaths.
