 AN EXPERT MUNICIPAL ENGINEERING FIRM
Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) 54th Annual Regional Conference and General Assembly
The Transtech team participated at the Southern California Association of Governments' (SCAG) 54th Annual Regional Conference and General Assembly, which was attended by more than 1000 civil leaders throughout Southern California. The theme was “Beyond Boundaries,” with some breakout sessions focusing on Traffic Safety where expert panelists highlighted local strategies to improve safety, including balancing enforcement and equity, education and outreach strategies, and safe street design. The Transtech team gained a lot of knowledge through the informative sessions. SCAG undertakes a variety of planning and policy initiatives, including the development of Connect SoCal — the Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy to promote a livable and sustainable Southern California now and in the future.

Our Community Salutes
Transtech was honored to be part of the High School Enlistee Recognition Dinner Ceremony through the nonprofit organization “ Our Community Salutes .” The Ceremony took place in Pico Rivera. It recognized and honored high school enlistees and their commitment to military service as well as provided parents and guardians of enlistees with community support as their son or daughter transition into military service. Transtech was proud to be part of such an honorable event and wishes the best of luck to the new enlistees, We Salute You! We value the importance of community support and recognize the courageous, patriotic young adults who will serve in the U.S. Armed Services after graduation and join the 1% of Americans who serve in uniform.
Building and Safety Month of May!
Transtech celebrated the International Code Council’s (ICC) Building Safety Month to raise awareness about building safety, the importance of current safety codes, as well as the role of code officials in creating safe, sustainable structures that communities can rely on for generations to come. The Building Safety Month is a way for communities to celebrate all aspects of building safety.
Urban Elegance Project
Led by Transtech’s Inland Empire Principal, David Mlynarski, the Transtech team has enjoyed the opportunity and responsibility to lead the entitlement and civil design consulting team to advance the development of upscale, urban lifestyle living offered by the UCR Group in the community near Redlands, CA located in the East Valley of San Bernardino County. With over 1,100 residential units, resort style amenities, and location within walking distance to movie theaters, dining, and retail shopping, this extraordinary project area has much to offer. Working with staff, elected officials, and stakeholders from both the City of Redlands and San Bernardino County has been a wonderful experience over the past few years, and we look forward to the completion of this project area by 2024. Redlands has been in long need of new upscale multi-family rental housing that includes such amenities as resort style pools, business centers, pet friendly park areas, outdoor BBQ areas, entertainment zones, state of the art fitness center and yoga room, and multi-level parking structure. We say ‘thank you’ to all the individuals and agencies that have made this undertaking so enjoyable and memorable. The transformation of this project area is truly remarkable. We also wish to thank Steve Reeder for his vision, leadership, and trust in our abilities to be part of this venture. As he said, “when the team works, the dream works!”
