A MESSAGE FROM DORIS

Greetings!

This month was our Pints For Paws fundraiser at the Lagunitas Brewing Company and we wanted to take a moment to thank a few people for making it such a success. First we want to thank Dylan Chambers and the Midnight Transit and The Pulsators for putting on such amazing shows and for promoting the event. We also want to thank our Education Outreach Director, Janet Hohn for all of the hard work that she put in to planning and organizing the event. Last we want to say thank you to all of you who attended Pints For Paws. We made $6,000 which will help us pay for formula and other animal care needs in the coming months and we are so grateful for all of the support.

As you know by now, we are gearing up for baby season, the busiest and most expensive time of the year. We would like to invite all of you to come help bottle feed baby raccoons, squirrels, opossums, and skunks. Yes even little skunks love their baby formula. If you do not have the time, please consider sending in a donation that will go directly to the purchase of supplies for baby season.

Next month you will all be receiving the Annual Spring Season Appeal for help. Every year we focus the Spring Appeal on a critical need of the organization. This year we are asking donors to help us pay for the many expenses we incur during Baby Season, including food, supplies, formula, medications, and vaccines. We will be sending out the Spring Season Appeal on April 30 instead of your monthly e-news.

Gratefully Yours,
