Republic Services is still working to collect trash in the City.
Below is the revised trash collection schedule for the remainder of the week:
- Tuesday, Feb. 23 - No bulky pick-up
- Wednesday, Feb. 24 - No recycling pick-up. Solid Waste pick-up will occur. Residents may once again use your recycle cart for trash on this date only.
The week of March 1st services return to normal.
- Green Waste pick-up resumes on Monday, March 1
- Bulky Waste pick-up resumes on Tuesday, March 2
- Solid Waste and Recycling pick-up resumes Wednesday, March 3. Your recycle cart MUST be used for Recycling ONLY on Wednesday, March 3.
As a reminder: if you are making repairs to your home due to water damage suffered during the freeze last week, the City will help you discard the materials. Items such as sheetrock, paneling, insulation, carpet, flooring materials, and/or broken pipes, can be placed at the curb. Once your items are at the curb and ready for pick-up, you can either call Customer Service at 832-595-3400 or email the
Communications Department with your address and we will send our Public Works Crews out to pick the debris up.
