Trauma-Informed Teaching and Learning
What does it mean to take a trauma-informed approach to teaching and learning? Why is this especially important now? How can we apply trauma-informed approaches to our interactions with students and colleagues? Educator, researcher, and author Dr. Janice Carello led a two day institute and shared a wealth of insight and resources. See some of her resources and research here. More materials from the Institute will be available very soon. To find out more about trauma-informed teaching and learning at ETSU, visit the Institute website.

Our second guest speaker, Catelyn Schlowinski, will talk about integrating sustainability conversations into her Comprehensive Waste Management and Recycling initiatives, and community education programs in smaller regions and tourist communities.
