Join the founder of THRIVE Trauma-Informed Yoga, Elizabeth Haberer on Saturday, August 4th for continuing education and practice.

Elizabeth returns to BYS to teach a training and workshop. You can choose to take the training, the workshop, or both! Details below.
12:30-3:30 p.m.

In the training, you will:

  1. Access up-to-date neurobiological research on trauma and how it affects the physical body,
  2. Learn how it can show up in your students' behaviors and physical practices,
  3. Learn the basic tenets of invitational language and non-coercive teaching,
  4. Acquire at least three tools that you can implement to make your classes trauma-informed.

This training is eligible for 3 CE credits through the Yoga Alliance.

4-5:30 p.m.

What to expect:

  • The foundational teachings of THRIVE trauma-informed yoga
  • A class on experiencing body sensations and building interceptive pathways
  • No hands-on physical assists
  • Emphasis on making choices for your body based on how you feel in the moment


$95 for the training + therapeutic workshop
$75 for the training only

This Yoga Alliance approved Teacher Training with Lynn Rescigno is for both aspiring teachers and serious students of yoga. Based on Lynn’s background of Jivamukti Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Viniyoga, and Iyengar Yoga, this program includes: proper pacing, Sanskrit pronunciation, synchronization of breath and movement, yogic philosophy, anatomy, verbal & hands-on adjustments, pranayama, mantra, and yin & restorative yoga.
