Spring is around the corner, along with many exciting events. First, Medford is the host city for the 23rd Annual Travel Southern Oregon Tourism Symposium on March 17-18, 2019. Travel Medford will host the opening night reception at Rocky Tonk Saloon in downtown Medford. The conference will take place on Monday, March 18 th at Inn at the Commons. I encourage you to register soon for this amazing conference. The symposium offers good content and is a great opportunity to meet and network with industry peers.

Sports Tourism
Sports tourism has a substantial economic impact on the Rogue Valley. The role of the Southern Oregon Sports Commission (SOSC) is to increase awareness and education of sports tourism in Medford and the Rogue Valley.

& Trade Shows
An important component of the Travel Medford team is to keep connected to industry leaders, as well as writers and those who influence travel decisions. 

Marketing & Promotions
Development of Travel Medford’s new brand and look has been the focus for January and February. The team plans to officially launch the brand in May 2019. Initial features will include the new logo, colors, fonts, updated website and new visitor guide, as well as new letterhead, collateral, banners and promotional items.
