RIDE THE DIRT WAVE AT WHISKEY RUN IS A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS!

The turnout for Ride the Dirt Wave at Whiskey Run was overwhelming. The event took place on July 22 and attracted participants from California, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. The guided rides held on Saturday saw 62 registered riders, while the Sunday race had 90 registered participants. Overall, the event drew a crowd of more than 350 people on Saturday and 250 on Sunday, with many individuals attending both days.

Sponsored by OCVA, this three-event series aims to achieve several key goals, including introduce the trail systems to new visitors, connect the three trail systems (Klootchy Creek, Whiskey Run, and Wilder/Big Creek) to encourage exploration, foster relationships among clubs and trail builders, and attract riders from distant locations.

OCVA has committed to sponsoring the event for three years, so make your plans now for next year's Ride the Dirt Wave at Whiskey Run!
